In the 14th minute Erik Hegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Jan Koole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Hegg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Dirk-Jan Koole when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torsten Melberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, BK Häcken's Dirk-Jan Koole got control of the ball when Erik Hegg tried to sneak it across the goal line. BK Häcken's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jēkabs Eizentāls ran over to the corner to take the kick. BK Häcken's Dirk-Jan Koole proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save BK Häcken from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as PrimeTimeBoys FC's Erik Hegg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dirk-Jan Koole. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Björklund to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BK Häcken's zone, Majed Ben Ashimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk-Jan Koole came out of the goal and Majed Ben Ashimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Feliks Byczewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Häcken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PrimeTimeBoys FC the free kick. PrimeTimeBoys FC's Jēkabs Eizentāls couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BK Häcken. BK Häcken's Dirk-Jan Koole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hegg in the 60th minute of play. Dirk-Jan Koole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Torsten Melberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, PrimeTimeBoys FC's goalkeeper Torsten Melberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Ström. Dirk-Jan Koole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Hegg in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Vilgot Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Häcken's Feliks Byczewski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PrimeTimeBoys FC. Olov Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, PrimeTimeBoys FC's Torsten Melberg got control of the ball when Ralf Ström tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Hegg in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dirk-Jan Koole saved BK Häcken from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PrimeTimeBoys FC had won after a very even match.
