The Borgen BK fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Borgen BK's Philip Örtendal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Philip Örtendal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Dirk-Jan Koole skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Borgen BK's Philip Örtendal managed to work through BK Häcken's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Philip Örtendal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Christian Danielsson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, BK Häcken's Dirk-Jan Koole got control of the ball when Philip Örtendal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, BK Häcken's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Koole had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ole-Kristian Tomter. BK Häcken's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliks Byczewski in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Feliks Byczewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustav Hägg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dirk-Jan Koole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Kristian Tomter in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Borgen BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Staffan Biörnberg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ralf Ström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustav Hägg was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 40thth minute of the game Ralf Ström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgen BK's Gustav Hägg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, BK Häcken's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Koole had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Örtendal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Örtendal got free with Dirk-Jan Koole in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olov Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Björklund to make the kick off. Dirk-Jan Koole came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Borgen BK's Staffan Biörnberg. But to his dismay, Staffan Biörnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gustav Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Borgen BK's Gustav Hägg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Borgen BK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as BK Häcken's Ralf Ström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustav Hägg. That made the score 2-1 after 70 minutes of play. A collision led to Borgen BK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Philip Örtendal hit a great ball. Christer Hake's late challenge caught a BK Häcken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Hake helped the player get up and apologised. Dirk-Jan Koole came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Borgen BK's Staffan Biörnberg. But to his dismay, Staffan Biörnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Staffan Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Borgen BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliks Byczewski was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Häcken's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Feliks Byczewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Borgen BK's Gustav Hägg did a great save. Ralf Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gustav Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Ström in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustav Hägg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Olov Björklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustav Hägg came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Björklund slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 94th minute.
