Vivalla IP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Bocklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Kenneth Engman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boris Snäll. The goal made the score 1-1. Eusebiu Benga might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boris Snäll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebiu Benga ran back to his position shaking his head. Conny Giöck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebiu Benga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vivalla IP were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Jävrebyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Björk took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vivalla IP's corner Hugo Björk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boris Snäll quite easily take care of the ball. Conny Giöck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Bocklund in the 32nd minute of the match. Vivalla IP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Björk in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Vivalla IP's corner Hugo Björk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boris Snäll quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute Erling Bocklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Giöck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Bocklund to make the kick off. Vivalla IP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
