Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolfo Ruisko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 18 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Fernkvist came free, but Algot Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Lägdin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolfo Ruisko. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kanaryalar's Adolfo Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Lägdin in the 29th minute of play. Adolfo Ruisko made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Frans Enegren sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Frans Enegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Erik Lägdin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Ingmar Wennerquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kanaryalar's Edvin Fernkvist got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Kanaryalar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick.
