With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Algot Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Bocklund in the 8th minute of the match. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Lägdin in the 13th minute of play forced FC Karlskoga's goalkeeper Edgar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Algot Bengtsson got control of the ball when Sonny Algren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Lägdin in the 27th minute of the match. Liverpool FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Van Mechelen in the 28th minute. Sonny Algren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ingmar Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algot Bengtsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigiusz Tomaszewski's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. FC Karlskoga's Cristian Chan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Finsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Enegren's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Erik Lägdin made a kick off. Edgar Finsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frans Enegren went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Cristian Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Algot Bengtsson. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Algot Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. Sonny Algren took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Algot Bengtsson. Algot Bengtsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Edgar Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a little luck, FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg got control of the ball when Frans Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Sonny Algren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes FC Karlskoga got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Tomaszewski. Frans Enegren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 92nd playminute. Cristian Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Bengtsson having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Liverpool FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
