Sonny Algren scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Ruisko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Bocklund in the 19th minute of play forced Kanaryalar's goalkeeper Adolfo Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Remigiusz Tomaszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Karlskoga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Kanaryalar's Vural Sadri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Finsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29thth minute of the game Mikael Vikström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Karl-Johan Bocklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigiusz Tomaszewski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kanaryalar's Alvar Aspengren got a free kick in the 51st minute. Esbjörn Bocklund hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alvar Aspengren might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Finsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvar Aspengren ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski in the 61st minute of the match. Edgar Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Adolfo Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
