In the 10th minute, Gunnar Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chimpanserna FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14th minute, Douglas Jakobsson made a precise shot to the right of Boris Snäll. Jävrebyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Gunnar Hellström took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Boris Snäll to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Chimpanserna FC's Boris Snäll threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gunnar Hellström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 24 minutes into the match, Jävrebyn's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Hellström came free, but Boris Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jävrebyn's zone, Gunnar Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Snäll came out of the goal and Gunnar Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Jävrebyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Bocklund to maneuver through the defense. Boris Snäll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Utfal went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Billy Sandberg made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kurt Bjurström immediately put the ball in play. Boris Snäll made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gunnar Hellström sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Egon Rudkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chimpanserna FC's Edmund Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bocklund in the 35th minute of play. When Rolf Söderqvist fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jävrebyn's protests and gave Rolf Söderqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Rolf Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Rune Utfal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boris Snäll. Rune Utfal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Boris Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 45th minute of play. Gunnar Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunnar Hellström made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Utfal in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Snäll saved Jävrebyn from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Gunnar Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Snäll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boris Snäll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Utfal's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Boris Snäll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Hellström's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Chimpanserna FC's Gunnar Hellström in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jävrebyn's goalie prevented a goal. Boris Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Utfal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jävrebyn's Billy Sandberg suffered a concussion after 70 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Utfal during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chimpanserna FC made a substitution. Torsten Lindström replaced Björn Arvidsson. In the 71st minute, Rune Utfal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match, Erling Bocklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edmund Majman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boris Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Chimpanserna FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Hääger. Peter Hääger hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Gunnar Hellström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boris Snäll was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Billy Sandberg made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vilgot Alströmmer. Jävrebyn's Boris Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jävrebyn players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chimpanserna FC.
