Ciano Barba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute of the match, Simon Hellkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allan Löfgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute of the match Ytterby FF got a corner. Hammarbys Springpojkar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simon Hellkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Simon Hellkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hammarbys Springpojkar's Allan Löfgren did a great save. In the 12th minute of the match, Simon Hellkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allan Löfgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Allan Löfgren made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Simon Hellkvist sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 28 minutes, Simon Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ytterby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarbys Springpojkar's zone, Stig-Åke Brolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Löfgren came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Brolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hammarbys Springpojkar's Örjan Bruhn got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Simon Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ytterby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciano Barba in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Åkerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Åkerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Blom in the 40th minute of play. Valentin Åkerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciano Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Åkerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciano Barba in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Hellkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Blom in the 60th minute of play forced Ytterby FF's goalkeeper Valentin Åkerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alexander Benet came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Hammarbys Springpojkar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Benet couldn't finish the play. Valentin Åkerberg stood somewhat misplaced when Ciano Barba came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 66 minute. In the 69th minute, Paquito Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammarbys Springpojkar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Valentin Åkerberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ciano Barba sent off a good shot on target. Viktor Siggesson's late challenge caught a Ytterby FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Siggesson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hammarbys Springpojkar getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Viktor Siggesson hit a great ball. If Stig-Åke Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Åkerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paquito Ruiz in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Hammarbys Springpojkar getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Viktor Siggesson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Åström during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hammarbys Springpojkar booed when Ytterby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Filip Andreasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hammarbys Springpojkar getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Viktor Siggesson hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Hammarbys Springpojkar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ytterby FF.
