The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olof Viberg's late challenge caught a Hallabro BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Viberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Öje RK got a freekick which was hit by Olof Viberg. Öje RK's Vural Mustafa got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ola Sundling kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Vural Mustafa's late challenge caught a Hallabro BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Bertil Eriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Öje RK's Cássio Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Eriksson in the 18th minute of play. Ola Sundling kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sven-Åke Gali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öje RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Gali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coşkun Bayram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 28 minutes on the clock, William Stålberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Hallabro BK booed when Öje RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Stålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coşkun Bayram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Gali in the 33rd minute of play. Vural Mustafa took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coşkun Bayram. Coşkun Bayram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cássio Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Eriksson in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Gali in the 40th minute of play forced Hallabro BK's goalkeeper Coşkun Bayram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Bertil Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallabro BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Eriksson made a kick off. Coşkun Bayram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vural Mustafa in the 57th minute of play. Olof Viberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Bertil Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hallabro BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lund in the 85th minute of play forced Öje RK's goalkeeper Cássio Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coşkun Bayram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vural Mustafa in the 91st minute of play. The Hallabro BK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Öje RK to win.
