The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Vallman got free with Martin Vedholm in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Teunis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmy Ekelund was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Roger Kilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikings FC and the Hägersten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rudolf Rolfsson in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Vedholm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gustaaf Teunis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timmy Ekelund having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Hägersten's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Teunis came free, but Timmy Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hägersten getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jörgen Njurenius hit a great ball. Rudolf Rolfsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Timmy Ekelund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Pinhal went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hägersten's Timmy Ekelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Pinhal in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gustaaf Teunis sped through Hägersten's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timmy Ekelund. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

With an all-out effort, Vikings FC's Timmy Ekelund threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurício Pinhal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gustaaf Teunis scored 0-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timmy Ekelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Vikings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Rolfsson came free, but Martin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Hägersten got a freekick which was hit by Dick Dahlbom. With a little luck, Hägersten's Timmy Ekelund got control of the ball when Gustaaf Teunis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Rolfsson in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Aleksander Odman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Vedholm. Vikings FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Odman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Hägersten's Timmy Ekelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Pinhal in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Teunis could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Timmy Ekelund however easily saved by the left post. Chants of Vikings FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hägersten had held the ball for most of the match.
