After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When Maurício Pinhal came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vikings FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arvid Vennerlund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vikings FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arvid Vennerlund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st minute, one of Vikings FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vikings FC. 4-2 came through a penalty shot after 84 played minutes, when Krallsborg FC:s Hubert Eklund calmly waited for Vikings FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Stelios Petrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Teunis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gunnar Bergendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Martin Vedholm made a huge save. In the 90th match minute, Vikings FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Ros to maneuver through the defense. Stelios Petrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Kilberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Martin Vedholm came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Krallsborg FC's Gunnar Bergendahl. But to his dismay, Gunnar Bergendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jupp Göbl took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Martin Vedholm to make any attempt to save it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
