Richard Kalfhage started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Frölundaboys got a freekick which was hit by Albert Skräddare. Leopard Brööö's Viktor Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Åkerström in the 10th minute of play. Kim Ekerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Åke Ivarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Ivarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Leopard Brööö getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nils-Åke Ivarsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Ivarsson in the 20th minute of play forced Frölundaboys's goalkeeper Claes Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Nils-Åke Ivarsson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claes Stenström. In the 35th match minute, Leopard Brööö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Adelsköld to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Leopard Brööö got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Adelsköld. Samuel Blom, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Frölundaboys's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Ivarsson came free, but Claes Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Ivarsson was the one to do the kick off. Albert Skräddare kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leopard Brööö's Ingvar Hedlund got a free kick in the 55th minute. Viktor Alströmmer came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Frölundaboys's Olov Eklund. But to his dismay, Olov Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopard Brööö's Nils-Åke Ivarsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Stenström. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. Nils-Åke Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Claes Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Frölundaboys got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Svensson. Claes Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villiam Klintæus in the 78th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Richard Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Grubb took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Alströmmer. Viktor Alströmmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Villiam Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Claes Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopard Brööö's Villiam Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Leopard Brööö could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frölundaboys throughout the match.
