Match Report

Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824,
Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorino Oto started the match with the kick off. Bertil Persson scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Turina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Gotzon in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Turina saved Örebro FF from getting behind. Rutger Magnusson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Henrik Sjögren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lemi Çağa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 15th minute of play forced ⒻC SⓌAG's goalkeeper Henrik Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrik Sjögren. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrik Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrik Sjögren was a little too slow when Rutger Magnusson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. Ivan Turina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Oto in the 28th minute of play. Bertil Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ivan Turina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Victorino Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Turina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Herman Vedholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⒻC SⓌAG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Vedholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Rutger Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ⒻC SⓌAG's Henrik Sjögren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enes Akdoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enes Akdoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Örebro FF! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Rutger Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rutger Magnusson made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Sjögren. ⒻC SⓌAG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Gaafar Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Sjögren having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gaafar Jesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Sjögren was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Gaafar Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaafar Jesus in the 68th minute of play forced ⒻC SⓌAG's goalkeeper Henrik Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Gaafar Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örebro FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. ⒻC SⓌAG made a substitution. Bo Smefeldt replaced Herman Vedholm. 82 minutes into the game, Gaafar Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Henrik Sjögren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rutger Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Sjögren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 92nd minute of play forced ⒻC SⓌAG's goalkeeper Henrik Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gaafar Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Örebro FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaafar Jesus couldn't finish the play. Ivan Turina made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Bertil Persson sent off a good shot on target. Örebro FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
