Herman Helström made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Reine Månsson sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, IFK Vinkel's goalkeeper Herman Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Månsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reine Månsson got free with Herman Helström in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Månsson in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herman Helström saved IFK Vinkel from getting behind. Leonardo Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. August Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, IFK Vinkel's Herman Helström got control of the ball when Reine Månsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Reine Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herman Helström. The goal made the score 2-0. Bertil Sefastsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Thidén having to make a save. The supporters of IFK Vinkel booed when Rose Pigs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Andy Söderqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herman Helström. Andy Söderqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Bertil Sefastsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thor Borre was the one to do the kick off. August Thidén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rose Pigs's goalie and right to Leonardo Bergström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rose Pigs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rose Pigs's August Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Sefastsson in the 56th minute of play. Herman Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Söderqvist in the 58th minute of the match. Thor Borre struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. August Thidén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Vinkel. 64 minutes into the game, Reine Månsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Herman Helström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th match minute, IFK Vinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Kjellman to maneuver through the defense. Herman Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Söderqvist in the 71st minute of play. Thor Borre might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Thidén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thor Borre ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, IFK Vinkel's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Vennersten came free, but Herman Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Helström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Vennersten went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. IFK Vinkel's Hugo Ahlström was substituted for Viktor Wall. Herman Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Söderqvist in the 83rd minute of the match. Herman Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Ivan Vennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Herman Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Månsson in the 94th minute of play forced IFK Vinkel's goalkeeper Herman Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rose Pigs had won after a very even match.
