After 33 played minutes Stockholm Generals got a freekick which was hit by Brian Bryngelsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Söderqvist in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Björnsson saved Stockholm Generals from getting behind. Sören Lindqvist hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Rose Pigs's Andy Söderqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Björnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 47th minute, Robert Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Alexis Sánchez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of August Thidén. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half Rose Pigs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Söderqvist to make the kick off. Torsten Björnsson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Reine Månsson sent off a good shot on target. Andy Söderqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Torsten Björnsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jens-Erik Ahlbom hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Stockholm Generals made a substitution. Sebastian Forsell replaced Brian Bryngelsson. After 72 played minutes Stockholm Generals got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Ahlbom. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reine Månsson got free with Torsten Björnsson in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, Stockholm Generals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rose Pigs's Roger Vallengren got a free kick in the 88th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rose Pigs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
