Börje Sjöström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börje Sjöström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Bäckman's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Axel Berglund came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lars-Erik Gerdberg could save by the left post. After 21 played minutes Larsberg got a freekick which was hit by Börje Torstensson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Löfgren in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Sjöström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gustaf Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Blom might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Gerdberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Blom ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Robert Löfgren notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Larsberg's Börje Sjöström. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Blom to make the kick off. David Stenquist scored 0-7 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börje Sjöström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Robert Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Börje Sjöström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Börje Sjöström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Löfgren's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Lars-Erik Gerdberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larsberg. Fredrik Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lars-Erik Gerdberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sundsvalls DFF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Larsberg throughout the match.
