Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernst Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Näver in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Pååk saved Republic of Jämtland from getting behind. Republic of Jämtland's Petter Jonasson suffered a concussion after 43 minutes and had to leave the field. Jens-Ove Näver's late challenge caught a Republic of Jämtland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ove Näver helped the player get up and apologised. Republic of Jämtland made a substitution. Kurt Hääger replaced Petter Jonasson. Jens-Ove Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Republic of Jämtland's Kurt Hääger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krister Svanér came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Republic of Jämtland reached it.
