After some careless play in the Grangärde defense, Mieszko Piechna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Henning. The Grangärde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Henning should have stopped the shot. Torsten Henning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Cenușă in the 24th minute of the match. Bertil Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Marian Cenușă struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Torsten Henning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. 51 minutes into the match, Mieszko Piechna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Henning. Grangärde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mieszko Piechna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When Mieszko Piechna came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Piechna couldn't finish the play. Torsten Henning was a little too slow when Mieszko Piechna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-10. Mieszko Piechna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Henning having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Marian Cenușă lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Torsten Henning. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Cenușă kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torsten Henning. That made the score 0-12 in the 72 minute of play. Mieszko Piechna didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-13 via right post in the game's 75th minute. Galatasaray SK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Galatasaray SK made a substitution. Torbjörn Broman replaced Emran Yeten. Galatasaray SK's Eric Österlund was substituted for Mieszko Piechna. After a defensive mix-up in Grangärde's zone, Eric Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Henning came out of the goal and Eric Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Grangärde getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bertil Hermansson hit a great ball. Ludvig Lundin took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Henning. Torsten Henning dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14.
