In the 4th minute, Åke Back ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 minutes, Jens-Ove Näver made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Laxå IK's Eric Grep tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Back might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Grep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Back ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, Laxå IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Winström to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Grep having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Jens-Ove Näver made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Laxå IK's Eric Grep tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Erik Albäck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laxå IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Näver made a kick off. When Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 90 played minutes Ankeborgs Plättarna got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Henning. After a defensive mix-up in Laxå IK's zone, Åke Back stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Grep came out of the goal and Åke Back tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Laxå IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ankeborgs Plättarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
