Sören Juhlin made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Tage Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. When Marian Cenușă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sören Juhlin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bertil Svanér hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sören Juhlin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gunnar Drewitz. 12 minutes into the match, Crappers fc's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Cenușă came free, but Sören Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mieszko Piechna got free with Sören Juhlin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Crappers fc's Sören Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Cenușă in the 24th minute of play. Galatasaray SK's Mieszko Piechna came free and shot a quick shot against goal 30 minutes in the game, fortunately Sören Juhlin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Crappers fc's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Piechna came free, but Sören Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bengt-Rune Matsson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crappers fc's protests and gave Bengt-Rune Matsson a yellow card for diving instead. Sune Tunberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Cenușă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Ludvig Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henning Sundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reine Alströmer in the 59th minute. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emran Yeten hit a great ball. Sören Juhlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Cenușă in the 66th minute of the match. Galatasaray SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunnar Drewitz in the 67th minute. The corner led Galatasaray SK's Ludvig Lundin to fire away a dangerous shot which Sören Juhlin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Crappers fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Abrahamsson came free, but Sören Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gunnar Drewitz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Drewitz couldn't finish the play. Sören Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Piechna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Galatasaray SK were awarded a corner. Sören Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Crappers fc's Sören Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Österlund in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Marian Cenușă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Juhlin. Crappers fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Cenușă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 93 minutes into the game, Eric Österlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Sören Juhlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galatasaray SK had played much better football throughout.
