Ernst Pååk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Vester in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Hubert Andberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Republic of Jämtland and the Stockholms Södra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erik Vester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernst Pååk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Hård in the 16th minute. When Billy Palmquist fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Republic of Jämtland's protests and gave Billy Palmquist a yellow card for diving instead. Billy Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Republic of Jämtland's Billy Palmquist got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Billy Palmquist off the ground. Billy Palmquist hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Erik Vester sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernst Pååk skillfully saved the ball. Erik Vester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernst Pååk came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Vester slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vester in the 39th minute of play forced Republic of Jämtland's goalkeeper Ernst Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Hård struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ernst Pååk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholms Södra. Republic of Jämtland's Ernst Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Vester in the 42nd minute of play. Ernst Pååk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Republic of Jämtland got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Kvarnström. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Vester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernst Pååk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Söderberg in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game David Haeger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republic of Jämtland's Ernst Pååk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Stockholms Södra got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Hård. Hubert Andberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Östen Larsfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Hård during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Republic of Jämtland booed when Stockholms Södra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Republic of Jämtland's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Gulliksson came free, but Ernst Pååk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Gulliksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ernst Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Pååk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Vester in the 78th minute of the match. Per Söderberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ernst Pååk came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Stockholms Södra's Erik Vester. But to his dismay, Erik Vester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 91 played minutes Stockholms Södra got a freekick which was hit by David Askelöf. If Per Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
