Krister Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 4 minutes into the game, Lobster if's Olov Hedvall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krister Svanér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes in the game Olof Björklund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sune Överman. 12 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Näver came free, but Benne Cider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Jens-Ove Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankeborgs Plättarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Näver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Stig Malm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankeborgs Plättarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobster if the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Ankeborgs Plättarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Malm to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Jens-Ove Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Cider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Cider came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Näver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Näver came free, but Benne Cider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobster if's Benne Cider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 41st minute of play. Jens-Ove Näver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benne Cider came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens-Ove Näver slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the game, Ludvig Svensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankeborgs Plättarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobster if the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Ove Näver to strike the kick off in the second half. Ankeborgs Plättarna's Krister Svanér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ankeborgs Plättarna from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ove Näver might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benne Cider. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ove Näver ran back to his position shaking his head. Benne Cider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 57th minute of play. Elof Beckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Svanér having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Jens-Ove Näver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobster if's Benne Cider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benne Cider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 66th minute of the match. Åke Back charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Back the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lobster if booed when Ankeborgs Plättarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benne Cider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ove Näver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benne Cider was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Jens-Ove Näver scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benne Cider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Cider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Many of Lobster if's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lobster if may have spent more time on the ball, but Ankeborgs Plättarna were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
