Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Gösta Kaxe made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Bure in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Grep saved Laxå IK from getting behind. Eric Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 17th minute, Wictor Askestät ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Grangärde's Torsten Henning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Blom in the 24th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Per-Arne Danielsson put in a rough tackle. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grangärde! Fredrik Winström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Grangärde's Vincent Bure got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Torsten Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Grangärde's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Blom came free, but Torsten Henning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grangärde's Torsten Henning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Blom in the 41st minute of play. Valentin Blom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Torsten Henning 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Blom made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Valentin Blom notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grangärde's Torsten Henning. Torsten Henning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Valentin Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Henning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Erik Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laxå IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Albäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Henning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Grangärde getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bertil Hermansson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Albäck in the 64th minute of play forced Grangärde's goalkeeper Torsten Henning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eric Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laxå IK's Valentin Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Henning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Blom in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Erik Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laxå IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Albäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Henning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rdth minute of the game Valentin Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grangärde's Torsten Henning was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Laxå IK got a corner. Grangärde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fredrik Winström ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 88th match minute, Laxå IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Klint to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Grangärde's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Blom came free, but Torsten Henning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Torsten Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Laxå IK's Valentin Blom in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grangärde's goalie prevented a goal. Laxå IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
