After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Emran Yeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emran Yeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Svanér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henning Sundberg was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Jens-Ove Näver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Näver to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Ludvig Lundin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Åke Back's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Sundberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ankeborgs Plättarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Åke Back in the 63rd minute. After 66 minutes, Verner Malmberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray SK and the Ankeborgs Plättarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Sellberg in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krister Svanér prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ankeborgs Plättarna's Pedro Luiz Almeida got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jens-Ove Näver took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Sundberg. Henning Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Henning Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ankeborgs Plättarna could leave the field as winners, despite Galatasaray SK having more of the ball for most of the match.
