In the 4th minute, Stockholms Södra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Per-Oskar Bruhn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholms Södra's zone, Peter Ahlfors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Larsfelt came out of the goal and Peter Ahlfors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Scrotum Killers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Peter Ahlfors hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Erik Vester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Vester in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Markusson saved Scrotum Killers FC from getting behind. The supporters of Stockholms Södra booed when Scrotum Killers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Erik Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Stockholms Södra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Mager to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Per-Oskar Bruhn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Leif Örtendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Gulliksson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Henry Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Markusson having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Stockholms Södra's Erik Vester ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johan Markusson. Johan Markusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Stockholms Södra's Erik Vester got a free kick in the 71st minute. Eric Skålberg struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Östen Larsfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scrotum Killers FC. 73 minutes into the game, Leif Örtendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholms Södra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scrotum Killers FC the free kick. Leif Örtendahl hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match.
