Spectators: 7733 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Göran Bocklund got the match started through his kick off. RB Göteborg's Jack Lidström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gottfrid Gunnarsson but with some difficulty. When Mai Tai's Göran Bocklund in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RB Göteborg's goalie prevented a goal. Mai Tai's attentive Nils Säv managed to snatch the ball when Anton Knutsson made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Göran Bocklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalmacio Catoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Anthon Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthon Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gottfrid Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by RB Göteborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nils Säv was slow to take the kick. During this time Mai Tai's players had a chance to rest. Oskar Uggla made a great header on Mai Tai's corner, it was just that RB Göteborg's Dalmacio Catoni managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, RB Göteborg's Sven-Arne Stenkvist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mai Tai's Nils Säv tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mai Tai getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Oskar Uggla hit a great ball. Göran Bocklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dalmacio Catoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Nils Säv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After 49 played minutes RB Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Gregersson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthon Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Jack Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes RB Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Jack Lidström. Dalmacio Catoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Bocklund in the 63rd minute of play. Christian Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mai Tai made a substitution. Erland Nyberg replaced Isaac Löfgren. In the 78th match minute, RB Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Lidström to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Sven-Erik Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Catoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Bocklund's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. RB Göteborg's Dalmacio Catoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save RB Göteborg from getting a goal against them. In the 88thth minute of the game Göran Bocklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Göteborg's Dalmacio Catoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Göran Bocklund in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalmacio Catoni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
