The referee ignored Grytöl's protests and gave Joel Dalkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Grytöl got a freekick which was hit by Joel Dalkvist. Olle Dahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Johansson in the 7th minute of play. Karl-Erik Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Dahlbom in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Joel Dalkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Vadstena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Dalkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kent Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Martínez having to interfere. Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Vadstena from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Olle Dahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vadstena's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Dahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Västlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Martínez came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Grytöl's Bengt-Arne Torstensson. But to his dismay, Bengt-Arne Torstensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Vadstena defense, Claes Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Martínez. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grytöl's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Västlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olle Dahlbom in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Västlund saved Grytöl from getting behind. In the 35th minute of the match Vadstena got a corner. Grytöl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dag Lägdin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dag Lägdin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund did a great save. Karl-Erik Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Dahlbom in the 37th minute of play. Karl-Erik Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Biörkman in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Dahlbom in the 41st minute of play forced Grytöl's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Torstensson tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Arne Torstensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Olle Dahlbom hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Torstensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Emiliano Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Olle Dahlbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Erik Västlund was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60thth minute of the game Olle Dahlbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee gave Grytöl a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mats Ström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez. 6-0. Emiliano Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Christer Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Västlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olle Dahlbom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 80 minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Grytöl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Brun to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Claes Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dag Lägdin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Grytöl's Mats Ström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Christer Johansson notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez. Emiliano Martínez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Johansson in the 97th minute of the match.
