Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andreas Bagge took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sven-Erik Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Melker Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to RB Göteborg getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Osvald Lindström hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Anthon Söderström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jack Lidström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melker Alströmmer having to make a save. Melker Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Söderström in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Mellerud IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Melker Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Anthon Söderström took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melker Alströmmer. Melker Alströmmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Anthon Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrik Pilblad hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jack Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Melker Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Anthon Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthon Söderström made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, RB Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Stenkvist to maneuver through the defense. RB Göteborg's Jack Lidström got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dag Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Lidström in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melker Alströmmer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. RB Göteborg's Dalmacio Catoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Öberg in the 73rd minute of play. Jack Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Melker Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Anthon Söderström lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Melker Alströmmer. Dag Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dalmacio Catoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Bagge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Jakob Aibert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
