Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Charles do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Klemensson in the 42nd minute of play. Sixten Apelqvist came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Marbäcks FF's Patrik Odén. But to his dismay, Patrik Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The wind increased when Patrik Odén made the kick off in the second half. Sören Klemenssons short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Charles do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sören Klemensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Charles do Vale made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, Per Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Charles do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Marbäcks FF booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Stigsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bo Carlsson had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Esbjörnsson during the 69th minute. Robin Svanström's late challenge caught a Marbäcks FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
