Börje Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erling Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Wennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Erling Ersman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hubert Wennerlund's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Bo Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Skutans FK's Stefan Rang broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 27th minute, Peter Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hubert Wennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Ersman having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Skutans FK's Erik Hallgren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börje Berg was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Hubert Wennerlund put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erling Ersman. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Wennerlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Evert Billström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Julita's Jan Nykvist got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 80th match minute, Skutans FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Gullesson to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Julita defense, Tommy Hake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Berg. The Julita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Berg should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Julita's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Hallgren came free, but Börje Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Julita's Hubert Wennerlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erling Ersman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erling Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Nykvist in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Tommy Hake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skutans FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
