Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 150) Gustaf Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 1910 Di Blåe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Karl-Åke Apelkvist scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Ove Ekenberg, making the score, 1-0. After 20 played minutes 1910 Di Blåe got a freekick which was hit by Philip Sandell. Sven-Ove Ekenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Erik Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Jubilo Iwata's Karl-Åke Apelkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 1910 Di Blåe's Sven-Ove Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Wallgren in the 31st minute of play. Kenny Alström took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Ove Ekenberg. Sven-Ove Ekenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 36th minute, Sven Enström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Jubilo Iwata's Karl-Åke Apelkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Ove Ekenberg. Sven-Ove Ekenberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 45th minute, Kurt Bäcklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 60th minute Karl-Åke Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Vigren during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jubilo Iwata's David Vigren got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Erik Odman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Kenny Alström notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of 1910 Di Blåe's Sven-Ove Ekenberg. Sven-Ove Ekenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Ove Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Apelkvist in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, 1910 Di Blåe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Bern to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Lars Wallgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Ekenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Sven-Ove Ekenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Alström in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny Alström in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Ove Ekenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Åberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sven-Ove Ekenberg came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jubilo Iwata's Arne Kilberg. But to his dismay, Arne Kilberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Jubilo Iwata were the better team. Jubilo Iwata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
