Gelu Băcila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Robert Billock made a huge save. A collision led to Milwaukee Bay FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Valentin Holmberg hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gelu Băcila made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Milwaukee Bay FC were awarded a corner. Kasper Blomberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Kasper Blomberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund did a great save. 53 minutes into the match it was 1-1 when Kasper Blomberg shot a long shot which zipped by Avesta's goalkeeper at the right pole. Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Avesta from getting a goal against them. After having played for 56 minutes, Patric Delin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milwaukee Bay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Delin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Milwaukee Bay FC's Patric Delin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sabin Albu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robert Billock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Kinell during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute Avesta were awarded a corner.
