After 22 minutes AIF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Ambjörnsson who took care of the corner kick. AIF's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Glad in the 25th minute of play. Matthias Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Jakobsson in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, AIF's Erik Odin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthias Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Erik Odin made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Fredriksson. FC Hamodi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Edgar Ambjörnsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarl Andreasson could save by the left post. After the first half AIF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Erik Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Matthias Fredriksson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Jakobsson got free with Matthias Fredriksson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthias Fredriksson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The supporters of FC Hamodi booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Hydén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Edgar Ambjörnsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarl Andreasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, AIF's Matthias Fredriksson threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oskar Jakobsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matthias Fredriksson was a little too slow when Oskar Jakobsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-6. When Frank Sjöman fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hamodi's protests and gave Frank Sjöman a yellow card for diving instead. 73 minutes into the match, Alfred Sandström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Fredriksson. FC Hamodi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Sandström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Alfred Sandström hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, AIF's Oskar Jakobsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. A collision led to FC Hamodi getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Charlie Sillén hit a great ball. Erik Odin succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. Matthias Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Odin in the 94th minute. The FC Hamodi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AIF's performance. The match ended with a win for AIF.
