Stefan Jokiranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Sandström in the 10th minute of play. Erik Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Stefan Jokiranta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, AIF's Emanuel Månsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Jokiranta was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Wester in the 42nd minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Jarl Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Mäki charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Mäki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefan Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Sandström in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half AIF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Mäki to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mattisudden FF's goalkeeper Stefan Jokiranta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Odin.
