The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmy Grep was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Västlund in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludomir Sala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marc Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Olof Lustig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mellanström booed when Falconer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Ingmar Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovani Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Lustig having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Falconer FC had won after a very even match.
