Reine Åberg hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Strömnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Mellberg came free, but Olov Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Tyskie's late challenge caught a Electric Sharks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryszard Tyskie helped the player get up and apologised. Ryszard Tyskie hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cees Remmelts kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Electric Sharks from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Strömnäs IF's Ryszard Tyskie got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Electric Sharks's Aan Aae made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Åström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th match minute, Strömnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cees Remmelts to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Reine Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Hökqvist was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömnäs IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Erik Berglund was slow to take the kick. During this time Electric Sharks's players had a chance to rest. In the 57th minute Fred Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Strömnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Cees Remmelts. Bertil Melander scored 0-5 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Fred Petersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olov Åström. Fred Petersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When Ryszard Tyskie came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Strömnäs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Tyskie couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Strömnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Enegren. Electric Sharks's Frank Gustafsson was substituted for Aan Aae. After a rather tough play, Strömnäs IF's Anders Enegren got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Carl Mellberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Olov Åström to make any attempt to save it. Magnus Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Hökqvist in the 78th minute of the match. The corner led Strömnäs IF's Edmund Zagrobelny to fire away a dangerous shot which Magnus Löfdahl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. But to his dismay, Carl Mellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 84th match minute, Strömnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Tyskie to maneuver through the defense. Strömnäs IF's Olov Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Petersson in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Bertil Melander made a precise shot to the right of Olov Åström. Strömnäs IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Olov Åström made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Carl Mellberg sent off a good shot on target. The Strömnäs IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Electric Sharks were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
