The Harmless Newbies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Åkesson should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes of play, Kedranam FC's Alf Ekström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Åkesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Harmless Newbies booed when Kedranam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Domide didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Alvin Valström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Åkesson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Lundgren in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bror Karlstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alf Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Åkesson having to interfere. Leonardo Åkesson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Kedranam FC's Alvin Valström. But to his dismay, Alvin Valström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Leonardo Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Alvin Valström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kedranam FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Ekström made a kick off. The supporters of Kedranam FC booed when Harmless Newbies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Broman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvin Valström in the 57th minute. A collision led to Harmless Newbies getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Torsten Alstedt hit a great ball. Peter Björklund struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Leonardo Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kedranam FC. Alf Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bengt-Rune Lundgren struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bror Karlstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harmless Newbies. Bengt-Rune Lundgren's late challenge caught a Kedranam FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Harmless Newbies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Alf Ekström came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonardo Åkesson could save by the left post. In the 96th minute, Alf Ekström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Kedranam FC played a much better game than Harmless Newbies and deserved their victory. The Harmless Newbies players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
