The supporters of Chivas Regal booed when Jubberud IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inge Norberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Klas Landin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Magnusson. Jubberud IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klas Landin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 56th minute, Chivas Regal's Klas Landin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustav Magnusson. Gustav Magnusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Magnus Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gustav Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Asier Soriano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustav Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. If Alvaro Recoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. In the 85th minute, Asier Soriano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivas Regal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. Gustav Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Oskar Friberger sent off a good shot on target. Gustav Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Recoba in the 93rd minute of the match. The Jubberud IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chivas Regal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
