Pompiliu Baciu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Christer Bruse drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Älmhult Flames's goalkeeper. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Francois Keuppens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Francois Keuppens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Främlingslegionen BK's Zé Prata shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Älmhult Flames's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Prata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Älmhult Flames's zone, Zé Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francois Keuppens came out of the goal and Zé Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Francois Keuppens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Zé Prata put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Francois Keuppens. Francois Keuppens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Prata went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Älmhult Flames defense, Zé Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francois Keuppens. The Älmhult Flames fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francois Keuppens should have stopped the shot. Zé Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francois Keuppens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Prata in the 93rd minute of play forced Älmhult Flames's goalkeeper Francois Keuppens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Melker Björkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boruc Klimkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Främlingslegionen BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
