Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Åman in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Åman came free, but Sven Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg got control of the ball when Uzay Gencalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Lindgren came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Novella in the 19th minute of play forced Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Sven Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Soned hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Åbyggeby FK defense, Frank Novella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Finsberg. The Åbyggeby FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Finsberg should have stopped the shot. Åbyggeby FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Frank Novella scored to the left of an out of position Sven Finsberg, making the score, 2-0. Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Åbyggeby FK from getting a goal against them. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Pihlgren in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Frank Novella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sven Finsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Novella received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Finsberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Novella slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uzay Gencalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sven Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzay Gencalp in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Åman came free, but Sven Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uzay Gencalp was the one to do the kick off. Sven Finsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Skarkman went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kjellman in the 55th minute of play forced Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Sven Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Frank Novella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Åman in the 57th minute of play forced Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Sven Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, Baxters Boys's Kevin Skarkman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Finsberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baxters Boys reached it. After a rather tough play, Åbyggeby FK's Oliver Pettersson got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's Uzay Gencalp made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Finsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Åman in the 66th minute of play. Baxters Boys were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Åbyggeby FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Skarkman took the corner. Baxters Boys's Uzay Gencalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven Finsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Åbyggeby FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Oliver Pettersson hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Frank Novella made a precise shot to the right of Sven Finsberg. Åbyggeby FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Åbyggeby FK made a substitution. Per-Arne Söderkvist replaced Erling Valler. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Olov Tham replaced Uzay Gencalp. The Baxters Boys fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Baxters Boys's Olov Tham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sven Finsberg came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Baxters Boys's Staffan Åman. But to his dismay, Staffan Åman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After 83 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's Frank Novella made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Finsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Frank Novella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Finsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Frank Novella kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Sven Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Tham in the 92nd minute of play. Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Strömqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Baxters Boys fully deserved thier win.
