Vikens IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Arne Söderkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Åbyggeby FK defense, Patrik Asplund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Finsberg. The Åbyggeby FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Finsberg should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Åbyggeby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Frank Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Åbyggeby FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Karl-Oskar Pihlgren sped through Vikens IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Söderquist. Victor Söderquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Söderkvist in the 82nd minute of play. Erling Valler hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sven Finsberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Kruse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-3 in the 92 minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Åbyggeby FK could leave the field as winners, despite Vikens IK having more of the ball for most of the match.
