The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 3 minutes on the clock, Yngve Fridlund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 2nd minute, one of Åbyggeby FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åbyggeby FK. In the 4th minute of the game, UllaBull BK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Sven Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Berglund in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vidar Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Strömbom was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the match, Johannes Landin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven Finsberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pontus Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Finsberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Oliver Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åbyggeby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Strömbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ingemar Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Åbyggeby FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingemar Lindgren couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Sven Lennartsson made a precise shot to the right of Sven Finsberg. Åbyggeby FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Anders Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of UllaBull BK booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Åbyggeby FK's Holger Nordström got a free kick in the 35th minute. UllaBull BK's Stig Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Nordström hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Esbjörn Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the UllaBull BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Bagge couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Åbyggeby FK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Holger Nordström hit a great ball. If Sven Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 46 minutes of play, UllaBull BK's Pontus Berglund made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Finsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Ingemar Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. Sven Finsberg came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by UllaBull BK's Pontus Berglund. But to his dismay, Pontus Berglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pontus Berglund took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Finsberg. Sven Finsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Johannes Landin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Bagge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Johannes Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Landin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidar Lindberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes, UllaBull BK's Stig Lindström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Finsberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UllaBull BK reached it. Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. UllaBull BK's Anders Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Billvall in the 96th minute of play. UllaBull BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
