But to his dismay, Dan Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Skollholmen FC's Christoffer Pettersson got a free kick in the 19th minute. Måns Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Telin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Edmund Scislowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Evert Lägdin made a huge save. Måns Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Valter Telin made the kick off in the second half. Lewis James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Lägdin having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Michael Persson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skollholmen FC the free kick. Michael Persson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Hake in the 80th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Evert Lägdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Skollholmen FC had won after a very even match.
