Victor Söderquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Oto in the 7th minute of play forced Vikens IK's goalkeeper Victor Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Frank Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Vikens IK got a freekick which was hit by Bara Fet. In the 9th minute of the match Christian Andersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Söderquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Helsingborg IF's Bernardino Oto in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikens IK's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Söderquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Abrahamsson in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Helsingborg IF getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Örjan Norström hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Vikens IK's Bara Fet broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 22 minutes, Evaristo Foro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Helsingborg IF and the Vikens IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaristo Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Patrik Asplund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikens IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Asplund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Bernardino Oto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Söderquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Evaristo Foro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helsingborg IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 38 minutes into the game, Helsingborg IF's Bernardino Oto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Söderquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 41 minutes into the game, Anthon Vassenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Victor Söderquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Abrahamsson in the 44th minute of play forced Vikens IK's goalkeeper Victor Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Björkkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Björkkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vikens IK's Göran Björkkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Vikens IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Helsingborg IF were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Asplund to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Helsingborg IF got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Oto. Bernardino Oto hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Victor Söderquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Ove Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Victor Söderquist came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Helsingborg IF's Bernardino Oto. But to his dismay, Bernardino Oto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Evaristo Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Söderquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Helsingborg IF booed when Vikens IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stig-Ove Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Bernardino Oto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Söderquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 72 minutes into the match, Stig-Ove Abrahamsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Söderquist, 0-10. After 77th play minutes Bernardino Oto shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Victor Söderquist and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Helsingborg IF's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Can, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute Anthon Vassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Stig-Ove Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsingborg IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Söderquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Stig-Ove Abrahamsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Söderquist, 0-12. Helsingborg IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
