Niklas Palmkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Magnusson having to interfere. When Laurenz Van Hove came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the West ham united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurenz Van Hove couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Elano FF's goal looked a bit too open when Habakkuk Cole came free, but Petter Örtlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Niklas Palmkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West ham united's Claes Magnusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernst Vercammen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petter Örtlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernst Vercammen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute 俞朗邦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes West ham united got a freekick which was hit by Albin Käller. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Claes Magnusson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 俞朗邦 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. Petter Örtlund came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by West ham united's Arne Söderqvist. But to his dismay, Arne Söderqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Petter Örtlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Vercammen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. West ham united's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Söderqvist in the 61st minute. A collision led to Elano FF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Andreas Bocklund hit a great ball. Petter Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Vercammen in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habakkuk Cole in the 68th minute of play forced Elano FF's goalkeeper Petter Örtlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Elano FF got a freekick which was hit by 俞朗邦. After some careless play in the Elano FF defense, Ernst Vercammen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petter Örtlund. The Elano FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petter Örtlund should have stopped the shot. Ernst Vercammen struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Petter Örtlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West ham united. Petter Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Vercammen in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Ernst Vercammen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Örtlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that West ham united were the better team. West ham united's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
