The referee showed Kevin Mogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Menofta getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kevin Mogren hit a great ball. Baxrimez BK's Lars-Erik Ennegren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Menofta. After 13 played minutes Menofta got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Pettersson. Baxrimez BK's Ture Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Viklund in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Mieszko Puzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menofta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mieszko Puzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mieszko Puzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Siggesson in the 32nd minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper Tanek Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Börje Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match, Mieszko Puzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ture Arvidsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th minute, Kevin Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanek Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Botvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ture Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Puzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Menofta's Helge Alfors got a free kick in the 56th minute. John Lundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tanek Brudzisz made a huge save. Menofta's Tanek Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Botvidsson in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Baxrimez BK got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Siggesson. The crowd rose to their feet as Baxrimez BK's Börje Botvidsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanek Brudzisz. That made the score 0-1 after 67 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Strand during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tanek Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Ennegren in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Menofta's Gösta Pettersson got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börje Botvidsson got free with Tanek Brudzisz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cafu Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mieszko Puzio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Baxrimez BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
