The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petter Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Prütz in the 6th minute of play. Elano FF's Petter Örtlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Elano FF from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute of the game Amor Amore made a throw-in which Vincent Prütz played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Palmkvist in the 16th minute of play forced Vångens AIS's goalkeeper Jakob Breen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Prütz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petter Örtlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Vincent Prütz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Andreas Bocklund hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Vincent Prütz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petter Örtlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vångens AIS's Jakob Breen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Palmkvist in the 38th minute of play. Petter Örtlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Prütz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elano FF's goalkeeper Petter Örtlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Palmkvist in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Breen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amor Amore made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Elano FF's Reine Gabrielsson. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Vångens AIS booed when Elano FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Gabrielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petter Örtlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Prütz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Palmkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakob Breen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jakob Breen made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Niklas Palmkvist sent off a good shot on target. Vångens AIS's Jakob Breen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Vångens AIS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Vångens AIS's Wilhelm Hellgren got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vincent Prütz might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petter Örtlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vincent Prütz ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Bocklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakob Breen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Jakob Breen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Niklas Palmkvist sent off a good shot on target. Vångens AIS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
