If Vincent Prütz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Wilhelm Hellgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vångens AIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Björkman got free with Jakob Breen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Vincent Prütz put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ragnar Olsson. Håkan Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Olsson having to interfere. A collision led to Vångens AIS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pelle Karlsson hit a great ball. Andreas Söderström, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Håkan Wall struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ragnar Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vångens AIS. 85 minutes into the match, Vångens AIS's Vincent Prütz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ragnar Olsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ragnar Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Håkan Wall might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ragnar Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Wall ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Vångens AIS's Ludomir Hejza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Vångens AIS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
