Christian Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Nunes having to interfere. Malte Fransson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Malte Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beetlejuice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FTU the free kick. After 7 played minutes Beetlejuice got a freekick which was hit by Malte Fransson. Eralp Koyas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Kossakowski in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16thth minute of the game Christian Svanström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beetlejuice's Nestor Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Matthiessen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Michael Apelkvist made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Malte Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Apelkvist. FTU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malte Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Michael Apelkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Fransson in the 24th minute. Sivert Simonsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Michael Apelkvist made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, FTU's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Matthiessen came free, but Michael Apelkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Beetlejuice's Michael Apelkvist threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Malte Fransson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute, Jarl Pihlblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Örtlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Örtlund ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Beetlejuice's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Lindström came free, but Nestor Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Kossakowski went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, FTU's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Matthiessen came free, but Michael Apelkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Matthiessen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Kossakowski in the 57th minute of play forced Beetlejuice's goalkeeper Nestor Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Matthiessen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Apelkvist. Michael Apelkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Michael Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Matthiessen in the 71st minute of play. Michael Apelkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Tingelholm in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Beetlejuice getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Malte Fransson hit a great ball. After 82 minutes, Christian Svanström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FTU and the Beetlejuice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes FTU got a freekick which was hit by Christian Svanström. FTU's Michael Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Matthiessen in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Malte Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Beetlejuice's goalkeeper Nestor Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Svanström. Malte Fransson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Apelkvist having to make a save. Michael Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Simonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
