Beetlejuice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hortlax FC the free kick. Robert Isaksson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Stenberg got free with Nestor Nunes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th match minute, Beetlejuice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Haraldsson to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Robert Isaksson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Nunes, 1-0. Nestor Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Stenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Fransson took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pålsson. Alex Pålsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Robert Isaksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Stenberg got free with Nestor Nunes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Nestor Nunes managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Hortlax FC's Philip Stenberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gottfrid Tingelholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Pålsson having to interfere. Hortlax FC's Alex Pålsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Matthiessen in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Beetlejuice got a corner. Hortlax FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patric Kvalfält ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute, Philip Stenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Stenberg in the 50th minute of play forced Beetlejuice's goalkeeper Nestor Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Robert Isaksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hortlax FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 57 minutes into the match, Beetlejuice's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Isaksson came free, but Nestor Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beetlejuice's Nestor Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Lidberg in the 65th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Hortlax FC's Robert Isaksson made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 89 played minutes Beetlejuice got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Alefors. Helge Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hortlax FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Helge Norberg hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Patric Kvalfält sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Pålsson skillfully saved the ball. Beetlejuice's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
